Breasts are a symbol of femininity and great looking breasts often brings great self-confidence to woman. Our world-class surgeons can help you achieve the breasts you’ve always wanted.
Do I need breast enlargement?
You may consider breast enlargement or augmentation if you are unhappy with the size or fullness of your breasts. The procedure can increase the fullness and projection of your breasts, improve the balance of your figure and enhance your self-image and self-confidence.
Breast augmentation does not correct severely drooping breasts. If you want your breasts to look fuller and to be lifted due to sagging, a breast lift may be required in conjunction with breast augmentation, which can be done at the same time. You may opt to do a breast lift together with augmentation based on the recommendation of your surgeon. The costs of multiple procedures are often cheaper than doing surgeries at two separate times and may in some cases shorten down-time.
Am I a good candidate?
If you physically healthy, have realistic expectations, unhappy with your breast size (too small) or shape and have a good understanding or the procedure and the risks involved then breast augmentation may be a good option for you.
Surgical Procedure
Incision
Generally there are 3 types on incisions that can be made for a breast augmentation:
1. Below the breast (inframammary)
2. Around the nipple (peri-areolar)
3. Under the armpit (transaxillary)
The choice of incision will depend on the type and size of implant, surgeon preference and patient preference.
Via the incision made, the implant will then be placed in a pocket either:
1. Underneath the pectoral or chest muscle (submuscular) or
2. Underneath the breast tissue (submammary or subglandular)
The incision wound is then closed either with external or internal sutures.
Implant Choice
There are 2 types of implants commonly used and the choice of which is determined by Implant type and size will be determined not just on your desired increase in size but more importantly on your breast anatomy, skin elasticity and body type. This will be explained in full by your Surgeon. Breast implants are not guaranteed to last a lifetime and future surgery may be required to replace one or both implants.
Saline implants are filled with sterile salt water. They can be filled with varying amounts of saline which can affect the shape, firmness and feel of the breast. Should the implant shell leak, a saline implant will collapse and the saline will be absorbed and naturally expelled by the body without any ill-effect. In such cases a further procedure will be needed to remove the implant capsule.
Silicone implants are filled with an elastic gel. The gel feels and moves much like natural breast tissue. If the implant leaks, the gel may remain within the implant shell, or may escape into the breast implant pocket. A leaking implant filled with silicone gel may not collapse. If you choose these implants, you may need to visit your plastic surgeon regularly to make sure the implants are functioning properly. An ultrasound or MRI screening can assess the condition of breast implants. You may have heard about silicone causing serious harm should the implant leak but there has been no evidence of any serious harm from silicone based on various studies that have been done and silicone implants are FDA approved.

Recovery
Provided there are no complications and only breast augmentation is done, you should only be in Hospital for one night post-surgery. You should reduce activity for a few days and preferably stay in-doors. The soreness and swelling may persist for 2-4 weeks. We recommend the use of support and compression garments to aid healing and increase comfort. Incision lines will fade with time. You should discuss with your surgeon as to when you can get back to normal activity.
We have excellent post-discharge support and follow-up done by our qualified doctor and personal representatives and we can recommend a healing programme for you to try. Please consult our representatives for prices.
We recommend that you stay within the Klang Valley for 2 weeks post-op to ensure that any early complications can be dealt with immediately. You will be taken care of by us throughout this period and this will also allow at least one follow-up by your surgeon before you head home or go for one of our fabulous holiday packages.
Check out our packages for combined procedures - further savings and no need for multiple general anaesthetic!
